The Home Inspection Report

The Home Inspection Report is a reflection of the inspector's knowledge, the effort extended during the inspection and the thought given to the report itself. It is a tool to help you determine the condition of the home and to help you identify concerns. The report:

  • describes the systems and components present in the home
  • states the material and safety defects I find with the systems or components in the home
  • states the significance of my findings
  • recommends repair, replacement, monitoring or further evaluation by a qualified specialist

This Ole House inspector’s report is prepared in accordance with the New Jersey Home Inspection Administrative Code and the Standards of Practice of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Prepared within 48 hours, it includes an itemization of the key components/systems in your home. It contains a detailed description of items/areas of concern, pictures of and recomedations for addressing these issues. This customizied report will be sent to you, your attorney and anyone else you specify.
