The Radon Inspection

adon is a colorless, odor tasteless gas that occurs naturally in our environment. It moves through the ground into the home. If the radon level in the home is above the levels recommended by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), inhaling it can increase your risk of developing lung cancer. Click here to read the Surgeon General's National Heatlh Advisory on radon exposure. The good news is that high radon levels can be reduced relatively inexpensively. The NJ DEP recommends that every home be tested for radon. This Ole House inspector is a licensed NJ Radon Measurement Technician who will take an air sample for testing by a licensed independant laboratory.

The Termite Inspection

his Ole House inspector will schedule a wood destroying insects inspection by an independent Department of Agriculture certified firm. The firm will inspect for termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees and powder post beetles. A report along wit recomendations is provided to you directly by them.

The Septic, Buried Tank & Pool Inspections

e do not perform these inspections. However, as a courtesy we will be happy to schedule these with a firm specializing in them.
